We are 1-3 the last 4 games and more losses coming.Spangler is horrible in this stretch, no point guard play, and we have basically average now 2 starters a game that not even show up.( different pair every game)

With no inside game what so ever and no pg we are average at best.

We lost in OT after a Hail Mary three on the road to a good West Virginia team, with 27 straight hours of travel before the game.

And we had a horrible loss to a pretty bad team tonight.

It's one bad game.

You probably didn't think we would start the Big 12 6-2 after losing at home to Louisiana Tech either.

Hard to believe the overreaction by some to a disappointing loss.

This team will be fine. One thing you can count on, they will not throw in the towel on the season the way some of our fans have done tonight.

When people are looking at our resume they will be scratching their heads how we lost at home to this team? What would make it even more of a headscratcher would be to go out and beat KU in Lawrence...

This is our TCU loss last year (hopefully, we actually don't lose to TCU this year too). What can you say? It is a BAD loss. I am sure the team feels like crap.

We need to put it behind us immediately. We have our ultimate stinker out if the way. I choose to bright side this and say that we will only get better and better from here.

That's good perspective. The issue that I have is that I can handle losing to good teams on the road....or even a really good team at home. But I have a hard time wrapping my head around losing to Tech at home. I hope to Gawd it's an outlier tonight and this isn't the team we are going to see the rest of the season. I just don't know what to think....and right now I have little confidence in our chances Saturday. I just don't want to watch this season go down the drain. Apologies in advance for my skepticism.

Not a thing wrong with it. I'm as disappointed as anyone. But if you'll read some of the posts on the game thread you'll see that the season is as good as over for a few posters here.

The first half was easily the worst of the season for this team. I doubt if anyone, including our players and coaches would deny that. But, there is a lot of basketball left to be played. I have all of the confidence in the world that our kids will be ready to play on Saturday.

Not a pretty loss, but what do you expect when you're a team that shoots quick jump shots? Stinkers are going to happen.

We are 1-3 right , all 4 of those teams below us in the conference standings.No way to spin that .......SAying that no one is saying the sky is falling , no one is giving up ......but this is not a good team right now.
Had we played like this earlier this season we would be towards the bottom of the conference , we have taken a step back, bottom line

This was a terrible loss no question but I'd bet good money this will be our worst performance this season. We clearly weren't ready to play and it cost us. The good news is we have proven we can play with every team in thus league. Just gotta keep putting in the work and try again on the next one.

We will have a hard time every game (as we have had) unless and until we learn to play defense. So far I havent seen much progress in that regard the last several games.

Chill out dude. These games happen with jump shooting teams. We can still control our destiny in regards to finishing 2nd in the conference.

Last night's play/loss was different than the other losses. I am disappointed but not willing to say the sky is falling. On the other hand, the inability to get stops when needed and sloppy handling of the ball is becoming more and more of a problem. Hopefully, we won't have a lot more shooting nights like last night because we cannot overcome that with play in other areas.

did I say the season is over ?? Did I say we would be lucky to make the big dance?But if you think we are playing winning basketball right now you are wrong. Can we turn it around sure, we will ?
If I had told you 4 games ago (when we were playing winning ball) that we were going to be 1-3 ........you would have taken that bet.
Im not saying this team is done, but if this stretch of basketball isnt alarming to you then you have your head in the sand.
To me this was our easiest game left on our schedule, just because tcu is a road game......and we blew it. Things aren't going to get easier from here.
As I said we just went 1-4 against 4 teams below us in the conference standings......we aren't a good basketball right now.....just average.
