What Big XII team would you most like to see lose?

OSU, just based on the past 2 days I'm sick of hearing their whining. You're a 2 seed in the NIT, that should be your hint.

I can't stand Kansas, but it's because of their insufferable fans. I respect the hell out of Bill Self, and I think a large part of why they lose earlier than they "should" in the tournament is becuase his teams constantly overachieve. This year is a perfect example. This year's KU team had no business winning the conference or getting a one seed, yet they did both. This happens year after year, and the common denominator is Self. They have a cakewalk to the Elite 8 this year. Auburn is the worst 4 by a mile, and Clemson is the worst 5.

The only answer is KU. They never face adversity because they get every call. The major screw job of ‘88. They pay players. Their smug fans. I hate everything about them. They can’t lose enough.

KU, for sure, but I'd place WVU right up there. They expect (and too often receive) special consideration from the officials, and when they don't -- when an officiating crew actually deigns to whistle, say, 25% of the fouls they commit, they whine and moan endlessly. They deserve to have at least four players foul out every game and unless and until that starts to happen on a regular basis, I'll be cheering against them.

I'd also like to see oswho lose in the NIT, just so all those (including too many posters on this board) who feel sorry for them (with no justification whatsoever) will finally turn out the lights on the pity party.

Tough call. I didn't see anyone mention KU. I love seeing them get exposed outside of the friendly confines of Big 12 conference play.

WVU is another good pick for similar reasons. I hate their style of play, and I love that NCAA refs are incentivized to enforce the "freedom of movement" principles.

crazy...I was on one site and it said 5...weird.
Yes, only 3 and 7 FF..(including the 3 nc's) since 1983...with all those #1 seeds in 34 years

*my bad, it said round reached...so they've played in the NC game 5 games, won 3.

Don't know where you're getting your stats. KU has played in 9 NC games. Fortunately, they lost 6 of them.

They claim 5 NCs, but 2 of those are retroactive Helms titles "awarded" by some dude working at a bakery several decades later: http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/helms.html. KU pathetically pretends that these 2 Helms titles have the same weight as their 3 actual NCs, in an effort to look worthy of being compared to Kentucky, UNC, et al.
