I hate seeing guys struggle with eligibility because they've been to several different schools and haven't had people looking out for their best interests throughout the process. It shouldn't be that difficult to qualify for most kids, but when you're shipped from school to school for various reasons, it can cause problems.

That's not to say the athletes themselves aren't also responsible... take care of your business in the classroom and you won't have to transfer from school to school trying to get eligible. But they can only work with what the adults in their lives give them.

Pretty off topic... but in some of the recent world cup coverage, I heard a bit about how European countries develop their soccer talent. I think the US (and the kids) would benefit significantly from a broader and better organized developmental system... and something that's entirely up front and above board in its intentions. Cut out the middle men who use the kids and institute a system that is mutually beneficial.
 
Just remember guys you can make all the accusations and assume all you want. We don't know what's going on. It's plain and simple. So why throw these two guys under the bus? Let's wait and see. BOOMER SOONER BABY!!!
 
Been gone a while, just saw this...speechless. Hope these guys can get their act together and get eligible, we NEED them.

For the love of God, it's freaking high school. No excuse not to graduate.
 
NO! We don't know for sure what is going on. We do know this is not positive. It is a negative and it goes with what has been going on lately.

That's my question as well Cheno. Chico can dispell this as a message board rumor ala Capel. If there is truth to this, I would fell more assured if Cam were in school this summer. Alot of guys have gained eligility over the summer and enrolled in the fall. No biggie.
 
DM talked directly to the source of this information ouguy11 or cam or chico and he was told Cam is in summer school and will qualify. I don't know why he hasn't mentioned it here.

It's all good as far as I'm concerned. I'm just happy to hear that he'll qualify. I'm ready to get excited about next season regardless of record. :woot

Good point. Is there any accountability for scaring the crap out of us for a few days? I used to think of this board as a coping mechanism for rough times but maybe staying away makes more sense if lies and unsubstantiated rumors are fair game.

Really now?? I believe I've rather established myself as a legitimate source of information on this board. I can keep it myself and only tell a select few if you others like. Theres a reason he's not in school already, and trust me, it may not be as cut and dry as some speak.

I said before, he is in summer school and has some classes to make up, the fact that it is coming down to the summer session means he didn't do the needed work in his 4 years of HS. That to me means that it will take some work on his part to get here. It's not like i said anything crazy that has been proven to not be true. Check the posts. Adios.

To me, "I agree that Cam would be the key, but he's so far behind the 8 ball now it may not matter." is pretty crazy.
