It seems like almost every time a team is about to put together a run against us, and momentum is about to turn, someone, seldom the same guy, steps up with a big play. It's been Pledger, it's been Osby, it's been Neal, even Honore got us through a small stretch when things could have turned sour.

I was thinking the same thing during the game. This team is as mentally tough as any OU team in my recent memory. I love our kids' ability to keep their composure in the face of adversity. Case in point, Clark's early exit with two fouls. Like Billy Tubbs said, I thought we were in trouble at that point. But, no! Neal steps up and plays the game of his life.

It should also be noted that Kruger despite Arkansas's reputation for applying full court pressure, Kruger did not abandon his usual rotation. That's the way to build cofidence in your bench and force them to get better. We're watching that happen in every game we play. I believe this team learned a few things from the loss to St. Louis.

Kruger is going to continue to use his rotation. He has to to play the kind of game he wants. Shows a lot of trust in the Washington's and Honore's.

Very hard to tell how good we are going to be. We keep improving and our pre-conference sched is nothing like that of Kansas, Mich St, et.al.

I am most amazed at how quickly the team has picked up Kruger's game. That requires a lot of quality teaching. Great improvement today on help defense. Recovery was superb. Hopefully they will just keep on improving.
