I've never had any doubt when we play veteran teams or teams that are as talented as us or teams that can shoot...I've always had a question about what our team would do if they played a team that was hands down more talented...

And I'm not saying those LSU kids are better players cause they aren't...but that LSU team is more talented. And we went in there with their crowd more amped them they've ever been and beat their @$$...that my friends is a very great win. Our boys went in and beat the #1 pick with his supporting cast playing as good of a game as they coulda. This team continues to amaze me...

What this game showed is...we can win it all no matter who we play...it's all about if we bring it...

BOOOOOMER!

I disagree.. their guards are sub-par.. maybe theyve got size but we're the more talented team... were ranked number 1 dude..

We didn't play well until the end but everyone knew we wouldn't quit.

Great game by everyone at the end when we needed them most.

What this game showed is that OU can still win in a hostile environment when we're not at our best. When was the last time Woodard finished a game with 5 points and Lattin with only 2? Definitely not this season. To make matters worse, our bench didn't help much offensively either.

That was easily the worst 30 minutes OU has played all season, and the team still found a way to win by riding on the backs of our three seniors. What this team showed is more heart than some of our fans give them credit for.

I couldn't be more pleased with this win!

I'm with you, Ada! A great win, and one that will pay dividends down the road when we again find ourselves in a tough fix (and we will).

More of them will play in the nba then our starters. its just a given. Not a bad thing cause I could care less. I've just always wondered if we could match up ok with a team that had more talented players and out play them. And we did...on their home court. Great win!

LSU hit everything they threw at the basket. We missed several layups and couldn't grab a loose ball to save our lives. We weathered the storm and persevered, that's what great teams do.

No doubt. Just a great win. We showed extreme poise. Love it! Boomer!

We played fairly poorly for 3/4 of the game at LSU. If we had been in Norman, we probably would have had a twenty point lead. But, strange things happen at LSU.

Our softball team lost at LSU, and we were pretty good.

Our #1 women's gymnastics team lost at LSU.

I can still remember an undefeated #1 Notre Dame football team of about forty years ago going into Baton Rouge to play a rather mediocre LSU team. Notre Dame had a powerful offense. But, every time ND got inside the thirty, they got a 15-yard holding call (it was 15 at the time). The game ended up Notre Dame 0 LSU 21, the only blemish for Notre Dame.

Strange things happen in Baton Rouge.

Agree with Austin..maybe more pure athleticism but not better shooting and certainly not better coaching

Agreed and against a post presence that is near unstoppable. Just an awesome win. Undefeated in the noncon!

Oh heck no not better shooting. Just more talented. We are hands down the better shooting team. They just have guys that are so talented at rebounding and quick and just crazy athletic. Our guys just play better basketball. More of them will play in the NBA but we are hands down the better team. Great win.

Lattin only had the 2 FTs but boy did he step up defensively the last 4 minutes

Definitely impressed with their quickness..Hornsby especially has a funky shot...if they could smooth out of the edges of their game (so to speak)...they could be quite dangerous in a year or 2 (minus Simmons of course)
