He built Northern Colorado from the ground up. Plus he won at Colorado which has been really bad for a long time.

I think the smoke is coming from the wanting Buzz fire. But the getting Buzz fire may not have any smoke because it seems like he's pretty content where he is.

No doubt Castiglione will try once Marquette's season ends. I just see him either staying put, or going to the highest bidder, which won't be us.

I'm not sure how much coaching came into play. The main reason Colorado lost that game is because for most of the game they put on an absolutely horrendous shooting display. They could not throw the ball into the ocean.

I was merely pointing out that he got out-coached by Capel and expounding my thoughts to what NotsoyoungJeezy was pointing out. If Capel was as bad a coach as people contend then Tad had no business getting out-coached by him (getting team motivated, defensive game plan, etcetera...) and should be concerning point about hiring Tad (please read what I said first....Tad is a good coach,). Colorado was not ready to play in that game and the defensive game plan by Capel had a part in the low shooting percentage that was still 40% and was better than Tad's defensive plan.

My parents were visiting my sister (feel sorry for her that she has to live there) and stated that people that they were talking to (Razorback fans) were saying that they were going to get Bill Self. I think that it can be said that -

It's not a matter of CAN assert, I DID assert that this was the logic you were using - hence why I agree it is faulty since I said that ("it is faulty") as well.

My assumption was that your premise about one coach beating another (and what that means) is a load of crap.

I watched that Colorado team play quite a few games and while it is true Tad was blessed with 2 excellent guards, it is also true that his team executed exceptionally well even in many of their losses.

IMO he did a lot without too much true basketball talent. They were really crisp on offense and hustled well on defense - both things that reflect on coaching. That's why I don't see that anyone could/should disparage his coaching ability. If you weren't doing so then fine.

All the smoke is coming from many more people than than Forde. Just because you don't know them or are not seeing it on ESPN does not mean it is not so.

There are many people that are credible in different places I have seen say Buzz is and has been number 1.

if this was coming from Dougie or Andy Katz i would get more excitied about this so called smoke, as far as other sources i guess i have missed those, hope your right.
