Whitney and Landry have son

Well, let's hope he can move better in the pocket than his old man did. Is he still with the Steelers?

As the article indicated Jones was taking first team reps in place of Roethlisberger with Bruce Gradkowski backing him up. Assuming he remains the backup QB he will make the roster and his $650,000 salary.

Cheap shot! :facepalm

The big clue should have been that the article was published out of Pittsburgh, as to whether or not Landry is still with the Steelers.

That is a cheap shot. Landry gave his best for OU. He and Whitney have been great ambassadors for OU. Landry has also turned into a solid Pro QB.

Stan Laurel would turn over in his grave if her heard his old partner make such a nasty comment. :ez-laugh:

The Jones/Hand newborn will definitely have some good sports-related genetics on his side. I don't know if Whitney played other sports, but I do know that Landry was at least a decent high school power forward at Artesia High. And Whitney's dad was a two-sport superstar in high school in the mid-60's (baseball and basketball) before opting for pro baseball. I know that Rich Hand pitched for a few teams, including the "original" Texas Rangers before retiring due to some arm trouble.

Unfortunately it goes with the territory. Many threw spears, undeservedly so, at Jason White when he was a senior after the loss to LSU in the national championship game. Many OU fans are unforgiving souls.

For all the criticism that Landry Jones has received, it's 2016 and he's still being paid as an NFL quarterback. Who woulda thought?
