As a women’s basketball fan that follows the men as much as I can I don’t see why every one is at Willies throat, I don’t know the story of him turning his back on OU or what ever went wrong is there a link to a thread so I can see why every one seems to be so against him?

The only things that I can specifically point to are (1) he was named as a guy who dogged it in summer workouts when we got a new S&C coach (Yo-Yo); (2) that in addition to dogging it, he was openly disrespectful Yo-Yo; (3) he had a poor demeanor on the court for the games he did play after he talked all off-season about wanting to be a leader.
That is the scuttlebutt, but ultimately he is a Sooner and I am rooting for him to stick in the NBA, just like I want Gallon to as well.

But this isn’t the 1st time I’ve seen a Warren dis tread, but yea Gordon is way better then Warren.

And another thing Willie has allegedly slept with at least two teammates girlfriends. That is not good for team chemistry
Thanks for the info; I think it’s a good thing for OU to have as many guys in the NBA as possible. I didn’t know about the stuff about sleeping with teammates girl friends, but I thought of you were bitter because he left in his sophomore year.

Gordan is better but Willie has more upside.
I say willie has more upside because Gordon plainly can't play the point and he is just too short to win big with at the two. I don't think he would agree to do it, but Willie could, with a lot of work and a change of attitude, actually play the point.
I don't know about the kids character or private actions, but he is big, strong, cat quick and a high flyer when healthy. His right hand is plenty good enough to play the point, and I think he could make his left manageable with a couple years of work. If he would buy into the point as a means by which to get rich and play in the league for a few years, he could be a good and winning point.
I am not suggesting that he will do any of the above, just that I think he should. Like Gordon, he is too small to be a really good 2 in my opinion. But, he will dream of being a great scorer and probably never accept a role that he could excel in.
