WVU Game

Might as well start discussing this now.

I watched these girls beat Texas this weekend and they looked every bit of their ranking. I suppose you could compare them to Baylor a bit as far as similar opponents we've had so far this year. I would be very interested to watch that game in fact. We all know Martin is amazing, Gondrezick has been playing phenomenonal, and Nyblack is the rebounder we desperately need. Can we take one off them, like last season??

Since the sooners beat them at home last year, I expect them to take this game personal... it could get ugly, but if the Sooners can keep it close then we could have a chance to leave with a W.

I’d love to be able to see it, but I don’t think it’s going to be televised. At least I cannot find it if it is.

There’s always one or two games you can’t get on TV or radio every year.

No mention of a paywall in the WVU story on the game...so certainly worth going to the link and checking it out at gametime.

Thus far, Tatum has been playing the best on-ball defense I’ve seen from an OU guard in quite some time. She alone has forced several turnovers.

Taylor’s shooting taking over a game yet again. She’s unbelievable.

OU up 29-22 at half. 15 for Taylor with 4-10 from 3 the difference. Both teams struggling shooting.

Which has always baffled me. She scored so much in high school. Maybe it was because she was playing against such inferior talent at a small Texas school. Very bizzare.

OU is up 19 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd!!! This is WVU’s biggest deficit of the season.

I haven’t watched WVU yet this season, so I can’t speak to how they typically look, but they have been a step late to everything all game. They’ve missed a LOT of layups, too.

I'm not sure they've played anyone good. However, Martin and Gondrezick are really good guards. Martin always torches us due to her athleticism. Gregory has done a great job on her.

West Va best win is vs Mississippi St so they do have a really good win. OU up 58-36 with 7:18 left in the game.

Girls are playing great tonight. Wished it was on a channel I could watch. Game is almost over and OU leads 73 - 49.
W. VA beat Texas by 5 and K-state by 9 this year.
