win or lose...talent or not a lot....we're actually not THAT bad now. This team just needs exp and a talent infusion. I actually like a lot of the kids we have.

I see no reason that we can't compete for top 4 in the conference next year and an NCAA bid.

Could not agree more. These guys play very hard and are developing a toughness that was never evident last year. They have been able to match runs when the game appears to be getting out of hand.

I think we are going to be a buzzsaw next year. You see glimpses of it already. Our inexperience causes some inconsistency but there are streches where you can see the potential.

We need size in the worse way get that solved and there is a lot of potential.

I am really impressed with Cam and especially Pledge. Pledge just has a great shooting touch. With him, Cam, Fitz, Osby, and a new point guard, we have a top 4 team next year. Seriously!!

Cade needs to stop shooting three's. It is becoming horrendous!!!! He needs to go back to slashing to the basket like he did earlier in the season.

I still think next year is real tough. We will be better but I think our schedule next year is so much tougher. Having to play Kansas and Missouri twice. Not playing Colorado/Missouri is tougher alone. But we also had about as soft a home non conference as we've ever had.

I said "compete for" Nick. Meaning to be in the running. If we fight and fight and fall short but we've been in the running then I could live with it. Of course I'd expect more the following year.

I think we can beat Mizzou in Norman. Give us a little more experience and we're winning this Mizzou game right now...and to that extent I say we hold serve and advance back on COlorado and ISU.

I don't know about an NCAA bid or competing for a top four? But I totaly agree that this is a much better team now. A little help in the late signing period to go with Osby and Goff, and next year could be a lot more exciting for fans who aren't accustomed to losing seasons.

OU needs more size and a point guard to compete with the top four teams next year in the big 12.

I think we are a true center and a decent point guard away from being a pretty good team

We rarely ever have a true center. Most of our post players the last decade are 6-7 or 6-8 at best. Blake, Longar, and Brown being the exceptions.

I sure hope we put forth a better effort the rest of the season than the second half today. Our starters seemed to pack it up early in the second, even when we were only down 6. Cade is selfish and everyone wants to call it leadership. Pledger stands around and only looks to shoot threes and puts forth little effort. Cam is not aggressive. Neal is not aggressive. Fitz is undersized. Blair is too foul prone. Newell needs a year. CJ plays his roll. Everyone else is where they should be...on the bench.

Now that i've vented. All the potential is there. I'm not going to say this team is going to be better without Cade, I'm not gonna do it. He is the heart and sole of this team and constant hustle. And when in the right mindset this teams best player.

If Cam and Neal would be more aggressive we would see some really good basketball out of them. They are skilled and athletic but they are too timid. They are true freshman and I look forward to the progress they make going into next year.

I don't know what to say about pledger. When he's on he's on and has proven he can play, but more often then not the last two years he has been a player that stands around the 3 pt line and does little else. Until he decides to attack, he'll continue to be hit or miss and let defenses dictate his play.

Once Fitz can play more at the 4 next year, I think we will see even more production out of him. He is getting valuable experience playing the 5 this year.

Newell has good potential, but is a freshman and needs time and experience to become a player that really contributes on the floor.

Blair will be better after this year of experience. He sufferes from being the only player on the team that can dribble a basketball and being the only player that can really attack the basket. Some good work in the offseason on foot speed and he'll be a good PG the next couple years.

yeah CM, we kinda peter'd out in the second half. It's got to be tiring as much time as the starting 5 put in ... all amplified when you play Mizzou and the pace they set.

Other than Tyler Neal we got 2 points from the bench. Mizzou got 42 from their bench.

We just need depth and it's on the way.

I only have one word"Mediocrity has set in at OU"!!!!!!Go Sooners!!!!!!!!!

Boca is the biggest sunshine pumper on this board, but his point is valid in this case. I don't know about us being a buzzsaw next year, but I am very optimistic for what next season might hold in store.
