You can almost taste the fear.

SOS is funny though. OU has played some really good tough teams but have also played some horrible teams.

Yep. Our "gimme" wins were worse teams than theirs, but the top of our schedule was tougher.

Good old Jmizz, the utlimate bandwagon fan. OU afer 4 wins, the Lakers. He evened moved from Tulsa because he heard OKC > Tulsa.:vitale

Saturday, me/you GIA. We will fight to the death. I will even let you bring Hair Gundy and Ratboy Sutton to help you.......:ez-laugh::eddie187_jpg_xs::ez-roll::ez-roll::ez-roll:

I'm not trying to say that OSU has had a really tough schedule, but to say OU has played a much tougher schedule is completely false.

It is true that OU has played tougher teams on the road/neutral sites.

How many of these games do you think your team would win:

- UK @ Maui
- UVA @ Maui
- @arky
-@arizona
- Cincy in okc

My guess would be one to none (just like us).

And don't give me stuff about LeSalle and that crappy team you played from the Big East. Bama was a decent game....and the zags are always tough the state of Washington.

The only reason your SOS is higher is because your cupcakes are better than our cupcakes.

1st Post!! :woot

Anyways, I have a feeling we are going to kick some major ass Saturday

It'll be settled on the court in the next couple of weeks, but as long as BT brought it up.

How many wins does OU have over teams that were ranked when OU beat them?

OSU has No. 22 KSU and No. 15 Mizzou. And btw, Jmizz still sucks and he's a Sooner fan!:ez-roll::ez-roll::ez-roll:

Doesn't do any good to compare losses. Might as well throw Chamindae in. OSU could put some ugly losses up also (TT). As I said it will be settled on the court.

But to anser the original question, OSUs SOS and RPI is higher because of who they have beaten to this point in the season. If we stink up against OU on Saturday none of it will matter.

Good anser.

I think that stat is somewhat misleading.

Props for beating Mizzou, but it was no secret that K-State is overrated, and had no business being a Top 25 team at the time they played Ok. State.

Good anser.

I agree. I don't get the arguing, when it can just be settled on the court in 2 days...which I greatly look forward to. But maybe it's just because I'm from Michiagn, and my idea of a rivalry is Michigan vs. Michigan State. :ez-laugh:

OSU is going to win on Saturday and this thread will be destroyed. I will be there to enjoy it. My first Bedlam Basketball since the Big XII tourney in the Ford Center.

What if Cameron Clark goes 2008 "Hellhole" edition Tony Crocker on the Pokes?

Fine, Carl Blair goes 2009 Austin Johnson and makes it rain from NBA range, there will still be snow and ice like it was that time.

I also see there's a good chance at another storm next Wednesday. I'm just like nooooo we need a good crowd for the UT game. Hope that one misses us to the south or north, well south or north.

Totally OT, I know.

It's just like the vast majority of years since the inception of the Big 12...we are ahead of them in the standings. I don't know what they are afraid of because they SHOULD be used to it.

Perfectly stated. I actually think OSU will win because I think the teams are fairly evenly matched and it is in Stillwater but I also think the myth of OSU basketball is a joke. They simply are not the better basketball program.

What if Cameron Clark goes Tony Crocker, no matter the year or location, on the Pokes?

FIFY

I swear... Tony Crocker shot like 70% from 3-point range against OSU over his entire career.

And to answer your question, it will be key for Markel Brown to continue playing excellent defense. He's really come on in the past 3-4 weeks.

Last night, he held Kim English to 4 points on 1 of 8 shooting.
