Young and McGusty

We've yet to see Young play and we've put em in that class?

BTW Price/White/Ere was up there as a top back court in OU history.

I'm pretty sure he was picking them as the top backcourt.

Also, most of us have seen Young play. I think that around half of the first round this year is projected to be freshmen. If you think about it, that means that there was more first round talent in HS last year than the entire NCAA. I'd bet a lot of money that he played in AAU tournaments with more NBA talent than the entire Big XII conference.

McGusty and Young will be fun to watch this year. I'm not saying they'll be our greatest backcourt of all-time, but I will say that if we have both of them as a sophomore and junior, there's a greater than 50% chance we'll be witnessing something historic.

Agreed. I have seen enough of Young and McGusty to know they can be really special. I don't know if they will be one of the best backcourts ever, but there is no doubt in my mind they have the potential to reach that level.

Not that it matters to me. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
