Coach talk: Your previous responses to my post has caused me to do some research. And your backhanded comment about me having ties to Curran Scott were totally false, I have no ties to him. I also never said I "ran" an AAU program, I said I travel with one. Its my daughters team, and each time we were in a town that had boys tournaments being played at the same time, I went and watched some of the Elite boys teams play. So when I make a comment, its usually based on what I have witnessed and not on speculation. Having said that, I assume you would consider the EYBL a high level of competition. A level at which if a player was successful there, there would be a pretty high chance his game would "translate" to the next level, correct??? Especially if statistics backed that up. As I said, I looked up the EYBL stats for some recently discussed guards on this forum who OU has had some level of interest in. They are all 6'3 to 6'4 and between 170 and 195 lbs, class of 2015. I'm going to give the EYBL stats for these 4 players and everyone can tell me which players they think we should be looking at, if any at all. so, here goes:
Player A - 7.8 PPG, 2.1 Assists/Game, 39.7%FG, 58.1%FT, 3.4 Rebs/Game
Player B - 11.6 PPG, 4.4Assists/Game, 50%FG, 82%FT, 5.2 Rebs/Game
Player C - 15.1 PPG, 2.0 Assists/Game, 39.1%FG, 86%FT, 3.4 Rebs/Game
Player D - 4.4 PPG, 0.9 Assists/game, 38.1%FG, 50%FT, 1.9 Rebs/Game
Again, this is for everyone, who do you think we should be looking at if any? No internet cheating either, just look at the stats above, and give your opinion. After everyone weighs in, I will tell you who is who!
