2016 Division 1 Transfer list

The only interesting available Grad transfer I'm seeing is Patrick Steeves, a 6'7" kid from Harvard. Averaged 9 ppg on 47% 3 pt shooting. I kind of doubt we're the right fit for him though, as he'd more than likely come off the bench.

I think we got as much value from the transfer market as we reasonably could with Grandstaff. Other than a Big 12 - caliber backup point guard, there aren't many needs we couldn't address better with an incoming Class of 2017 freshman a year from now. Keep a slot open for Trae Young, hope for Bolden to change his mind, and carry on.

My biggest thing is if we don't get bolden(which is about 99% chance we don't) I'd like not to waste a good ship and give it to a 5th year transfer.

I think OU could use a player that could do some dirty work in the post. The guys they have coming back are impressive from an athletic/skills standpoint, but I'm not sure any of them will do the kind of physical "enforcer" work needed at times. If they could get a 1 year grad transfer to potentially fill that role, I'd take it since it wouldn't really interfere with anything they want to do with the 2017 class.

If Jankovic from Hawaii decides to transfer, I want him.

If we do take a 5th yr transfer it will be somebody that is not currently on this list. There's always a decent player that decides to transfer late in the process and Lon is usually in the mix pretty quick. If we don't take a transfer then give it to Daniel Harper for his Sr year.

I'm with you. We're going to miss Spangler next season, and it'd be great if we could find someone to fill that role for a year.

Spangler's minutes will get split with Buford, Odoms, Matt Freeman, & Doolittle? There could be significant improvement.

improvement over the summer in these guys that would lessen the need to bring in Transfer.

Buford's the only one I see being able to bang in the fashion we've grown accustomed to with Spangler (though I'll admit I don't really know much about Doolittle's body type and playing style), and Dante's got a lot of improving to do before he can make us forget Ryan. Hopefully, he'll manage to do that.

Goodluck Okonobo is on that list. He was an ESPN 5 Star playing at UNLV who saw his time supplanted by Steve Zimmerman. He averaged 2.6 blocks as a freshman.

Not sure what happened to his game but this highly recruited guy might benefit from a change of scenery. In 2014 he was ranked as high on the recruiting boards as Bolden.

Any interest in any of the UNLV transfers???????

Goodluck and Dwayne morgan???

Goodluck has the ability maybe a little short of Bolden.
Good coaching could turn him into an AA. He must have some mental problems

Would he be eligible next season? If he isn't a behavior or academic risk, sign him. Even if he isn't eligible right away, a redshirt year working with our coaches would do him a world of good.

Looks like Goodluck might be looking to try his luck in the Northeast (sorry, couldn't help it). UConn, Georgetown, and Providence are likely spots.

Will he be eligible immediately? If so why? Doesnt look like he's graduating..

Nothing has happened yet. I don't think it matters if he has graduated. Due to their NCAA sanctions, I think any transfers from Hawaii get immediate eligibility. No postseason for Hawaii next year...
