I expect Moser to find a way to get Sam an extra year so he can start him for another season.

My current projected starters (will change as portal moves along)

1 Forsythe
2 Miles
3 Jones
4 Nwankwo
5 Wague

Did Moser do enough this year that he feels like he can play freshman next year and not worry about making the Tournament? I hope not.

But it's going to be hard to rely on guys like Cole, Atak, Blair, and Rodgers. Northweather should leave. That leaves a lot of holes we need to fill from the Portal.

Anyone know anything about the Blair kid. Any good? Also, wonder what the 7 foot kid looks like now. He looked pretty good, but awfully skinny, on the film I saw last year.

Luke reportedly is in the portal ...

I am leaving Yaya as medical for now will change it he he actually joins another teams (either way he is off the roster next season)

I predict although Wague will start at the 5 Rodgers will likely get more minutes than Wague albeit mainly due to Wagues fouling issues. But between the two of them at least we should almost always have a big athletic 5 in the game.

There’s some video of him on YouTube and he looks a little too slender for SEC play (at least at the time the video was shot) but he has a decent stroke. He hit a couple pick and pop jumpers in the video and was a willing rebounder and rim protector considering his lack of strength/girth. He is probably an upgrade over Northweather from day one.

I think you are talking about Holst ... Blair is a SF that is pretty skilled and a very very good Baseball players ..

Rodgers looks very raw to me. I never like seeing a big man who's highlight video is exclusively lobs and bunnies.

Obviously talented physically, but I don't know that I expect much out of him as a freshman.

IMO North weather is only going to be more productive at a lower level. He's not physical enough to play down low and the only thing he wants to do is shoot outside kind of like Matt Freeman but less skilled perhaps. I hope he might become a good player for us but it looks like he's giving up and looking for other opportunities. Don't blame him. Could be moser's leaving too and he's aware??
