Lunardi tends to overreact to conference tournament results compared to the committee historically imo. It makes sense since his employer needs to hype up conference tourney results for ratings purposes.
They're in.View attachment 2365
Don't know if this has been posted yet, but Texas 7-13 record against the Tournament field speaks volumes to me.
When I ran the numbers blind today, I actually had Texas ahead of us.View attachment 2365

I have them behind because of non conference, but in the tourney. When I ran the numbers blind today, I actually had Texas ahead of us.
Yeah. I find it hard to take bias out of it when I do it. So I took all of that out so I couldn't know who was who. There were some definite adjustments that would happen once some of that was put back in, but it was a bit enlightening to me.I have them behind because of non conference, but in the tourney.
They didn't. Dayton bound.They're in.
And if they somehow beat the other UT, they're out of Dayton.
Can you do OU compared to just other 10 and 11 seeds? I would like to see something.I have them behind because of non conference, but in the tourney.
This COULD be the year Moser turns the corner at OU. Not impossible. NIL will increase next year, and maybe all he needs is to get the monkey off his back tournament wise. He's put together the first back to back 20 wins seasons in a loong time. As frustrated as I've been that does count for something. Just trying to be positive here because 1) I love it when OU is in the tournament and 2) he'll be back next year and there's nothing I can do.Still hope OU could have gotten left out. Short-term pain doesn't help OU. Being mediocre with no hope for being truly good, does no good. OU won't make a change if they make the tourney, so we get another year of mediocre basketball...oh well.

I've been lurking on Trilly's Discord. The talk there is that he's looking again. I don't blame him at all.Still hope OU could have gotten left out. Short-term pain doesn't help OU. I'm dang proud of the guys, and pumped that it's looking like they're in. I honestly wrote em off after the LSU game. The players and coaches showed some serious guts when their back was against the wall, and when everyone had basically quit on em.Still hope OU could have gotten left out. Not sure why everyone is locking Texas, they’re right at the bubble and will face the question of if the committee really wants 14 SEC teams in. The committee just doesn’t place the same value on conference tournament wins as regular season ones. I’m guessing both UNC and Texas just aren’t getting in.
