2025 NCAA Tourney Bracketology

Some of the potential matchups being mentioned would be a bit scary -- Moser vs. Hurley, Self, Few, etc.

I've been so worried about us getting in that I haven't even really thought about possible opponents till today.

No. Don't want the 9 lol. That's why last nights loss may not have been the worst thing in the world
I think 10 is our ceiling. We were fairly close to the cut line entering the week. I can't imagine that a 1-1 week, with a win over a good but not great team, would have vaulted us all the way to a 9.

I mean, I think he dropped 20 last night. He was unfairly ripped on. I def prefer forsyth over him. But I think he could have helped us out
He's awful man. One game for 20 points doesn't mean much.

We need to get some stud Oklahoma players. Since Trae Young we've just not had the Oklahoma players that can make a consistent impact like we need.

Look at his numbers at ou in smaller samples. Shot like 57% from 3 (on like 12-20 attempts all year lol) and like 48% from 3 the next year. He would have been in that type of role at ou. And I think he could have been really good doing that

He was def worth trying regardless

I wish Cortes success in life. Appreciate him putting on the OU jersey but he is not a p4 basketball player whatsoever.

I think drinking in moderation is fine. It's basically poison for your system so I get why someone would stop drinking it.

On another note, the NA brewing company called Athletic is worth over a billion. Did not think that would be possible back in the early 2000's.
I 100% don't blame anyone for drinking. I quit temporarily in June for health reasons and liked the way it felt. So I have kept it up. I don't plan on going back, but it's a very personal choice for me - not anything but I think I'm better in mind & spirit without it. No judgment from me on anyone else.

I agree that 10 is our ceiling. But I think we are a solid 10 not only based upon what we've done recently, but equally because other teams that were theoretically "around us" on the bubble fell on their face. Outside of Texas (and maybe Boise and to a lesser extent North Carolina), virtually every bubble team in and around the last 4 in/first 4 out lost their first "meaningful" game they played in their conference tournament (Indiana, Ohio State, San Diego State, West Virginia, Vandy, Xavier, Arkansas).

I just did a blind bracket. Took all of the names out of it and just used the numbers. I have us as the top 11-seed, not in Dayton, playing BYU (the last 6 seed) in Milwaukee with Kentucky waiting in the wings as our 3-seed.

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE that draw. Plus, I could go to the games!

The athletic is still in business? What an absolutely terrible rag it has become.
They came in to beat the big bad corporate ESPN. Only to lose so much money they had to get bought by New York Times to stay afloat.

Id take that immediately

I don't know, BYU has an elite offense. With the way we struggle to guard, we would have to be on top of our game offensively to match them. That said, their defense is as bad as ours, and I guess I would prefer them to UCONN or KU or Gonzaga.
