I wonder if that's the biggest turnaround in a two-game season series in history. It's hard to imagine a larger one.

I was prepared for a hard-fought loss today, if it came. Even a low double-digits defeat if we had a bad day. I would not have believed it could go this badly in a million years. I'm sure the players and coaches feel the same way.

I'm proud as heck of the team for the great season they had, but it's tough that their final game was such a nightmare. I feel pretty awful right now, and of course they feel 10 times -- 100 times -- worse.

Was proud of Buddy at the end, going down the bench to thank all his teammates and coaches, no doubt offering each of them an encouraging word. I've seen lots of players at the end of a bad loss with towels over their heads, staring at the floor. I'm proud of Buddy for keeping his head up and thinking of his teammates and coaches. He's a class act, through and through.

According to Kenpom this is the biggest two game difference in the 2000s.

Villanova isn't 45 points better than OU today, and OU wasn't 23 points better than Villanova in December. Both games just snowballed.

Yes. The tiebreaker should be settled on the football field!

If they played a 3rd time, it would probably go to eight overtimes.

The King agrees with you:

@ouslivershoes and I watched this ass kicking! We want to play them in football and hang a half hundred on them!

:ez-roll:

It's amazing that if Villanova didn't score a single point in the first half, they still would have won the game
