Trae going to have to trigger it sooner when he drives I think. He is getting deep enough where their big can both block him and prevent the lob to Jamuni. Same strategy WV used and it is working again

We are shooting 28% and 8% from 3. We are also being out-rebounded by 5. The difference has been our defense keeping us in the game by turning Tech over 10 times. I expect us to shoot much better in the 2nd half and hopefully that will end up being the difference.

this half really showed the mental game required for defense. this was the most intense (using someone's word above) they have played defensively yet this season by far. this is what theyve been needing to show.

Even with shots not falling, the West Virginia game was still more frustrating to watch then this

my HOPE is that if we can get gritty and tough on defense then some of that might rub off on our offense as well. I am tired of watching so many OU bunnies get blocked underneath because we don't go up strong enough to draw the foul. Plus Brady needs to get some thicker skin offensively.

OU playing tough. With Doolittle playing better every game by March this team has a legit chance to make a run. Need to gut this one out.

We're so accustomed to having a million possessions due to our pace that when we make the same mistakes that we normally make they are magnified so much more. Then if we get beaten up defensively or on the boards to lower our fg% or further lower possessions it just becomes hard to stay in front and hard to catch someone unless we're stepping up our own defense.

that why we hafta learn to play tighter in these games.
