Texas A&M has the 342nd ranked schedule in RPI. Only 2 other teams have worse schedules.

Ken Pom ranks their schedule 344th.

They lost to Mississippi State who has beaten Arizona and West Virginia, but also lost to Akron. What do you make of A&M at this point?

Their best scorer just returned from injury. Really sad deal with Kennedy's illness.

I don't think they are going to be as good as many projected preseason.

How can they have a 342nd worse schedule if they've played Miss St and Akron? Both those teams are probably top 50 or 60, aren't they.

How does schedule ranking work? Does it only apply to whom you've already played or does your future schedule factor in?

I am pretty sure it only includes games played. It is virtually impossible to be in the Big XII and have that weak of a schedule after the conference games.

Just bumping this after the loss to Florida. A&M has played 2 of 10 games against teams inside the RPI TOP 250. The rest of their games are against the bottom 100, including 5 games against teams in the bottom 50.

They have lost both games inside the top 250, against Florida and Mississippi State (boy they have an SEC curse) and a couple of 13 points wins against just awful teams.

I know their best player was out, but that schedule is atrocious.
