@joeduvall: Sources confirm #Sooners are working to bring @Redbird_MBB grad transfer MiKyle McIntosh (@MervM_22) in for visit.

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

Nickname "Big Mac"? Let's get it done!

Edit for stats:

PPG RPG APG
12.5 5.6 1.8 (2016-2017)
10.9 4.8 1.8 (2015-2016)
5.8 4.2 .7 (2014-2015)

Good solid progression. Went off for 20 against both TCU and Wichita State this year.

Redbird? Illinois State?

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

Looks like he has a decent 3 pt shot but not a great FG% overall. But man he has the size we need. a 6'7" 230# SF/PF is nice.

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

I like his ballhandling skills. His size looks like Kristian Doolittle..... 6'7" and 234. He has some nifty moves around the bucket. Looks like he could play the 3 or 4.

Me like......

I like what I have seen of "Big Mac" on the highlight videos! Remind me of ISU's Deonte Burton.

I've seen enough. Sign him up! He's exactly what we need next year. A big body who can score inside or move to the perimeter and create match up problems.

he does look very smooth with the ball. plus you can't beat that size and build. he's a man on the floor.

Who is our competition?

i especially like that second video OUHoops put up. He sounds like a bit of a gym rat. I love gym rats.

Burton is about 6-3 though

I was talking about their skill set, the way they're built and the way they play. I have been envious of ISU the past two seasons because I admired Burton's versatility and his athleticism. McIntosh may be the closest we'll get to having our own Deonte Burton.

with his build and skills you can see why UCLA and Oregon were looking. With better grades he would have been there. Maybe we can make that our good fortune.

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

10 seconds into the 2nd video and he is absolutely a piece we can use. Would he start or come off the bench?

Start with Lattin, Doolittle, Odomes, McGusty and Trae. McNease, James, McIntosh, Shepherd, Freeman off the bench. Pretty salty, still would like another shooter.

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

Yes, please.

Love, love, love the fact that he came to school academically ineligible and already has his degree. That speaks to his maturity, commitment, and work ethic. Oh yeah, and the videos clearly show he's talented.

Re: A new grad transfer prospect has emerged

Looking at his numbers, his eFG% is pretty low, largely because he shot just 44% on 2 point shots. This could be, and I'm just speculating here knowing next to nothing about Illinois St., because he was the main goal point for every other team's defense and they had no shooters to take the pressure off. Maybe with some offensive help, he could be a beast.
