Alondes Williams has enter transfer portal

No, but unless he gets a good draft grade that say early 2nd round, he’s coming back.

Don’t expect any announcement until nearly last minute as well. This isn’t “just give me a grade and I’m back” it’s “I really want to go to the NBA and will do whatever I can to get there”

this is kinda why i want him to move on. if he comes back and things don't go as well as he had thought, i don't want him second guessing his decision. things might turn sour. i want someone here who is 100% committed mentally and physically. it's a new day...

edit: wow, before i could post this he gone! lol. definitely a new day.

Which draft is he planning to declare for?
This is all so weird

maybe WNBA? ya know, maybe he's identifying as a female now.

I kid...but yes, I don't see him even getting close.

I wonder if he still believes in Santa. We all have "WTF" moments, but this one is over the top.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to understand why kids declare. There is zero downside to doing it. Most of them are just looking for feedback on their game. I would be shocked if he thinks he is going to be drafted. But if you can get feedback on stuff, maintain your eligibility, come back and work on those things, what is the harm?

So he needs to declare for the draft to hear “you need to shoot a lot better, play much better defense, work on your ball-handling and rebounding and it wouldn’t hurt if you grew 3-4 inches?”

What a ridiculous waste of time

in the immortal words of johnny utah, he ain't coming back.

Does the nba have to give you a grade? I mean if I entered my name into the draft are they going to grade me? Because there isn’t a single nba scout who knows who alondes Williams is.

These kids must be fed all sorts of BS... But have some self awareness

If you struggle to start for your college team, unless that team is the Kentucky of years past.....you ain't going pro.

That's fine and all, but have some humility, some self awareness. If you're only looking to get a grade, do it quietly instead of embarrassing yourself like this.

I’d disagree that most are just looking for feedback. My experience ( I know you don’t think I know ****) tells me a lot of kids get told from early on (5th grade) that they are the $hit.

I’ve seen from lower than jr high and up kids think they are the best. Mainly relatives some coaches feed them this idea all the time. They grow up thinking they are way better than they really are and if only the coach would give them a chance they’d show the world.
