We still blew double digit leads. Being up 12 with seven minutes should be a safe lead, even if you feel it is not a "huge" lead.
Too many to ignore. An alarming and continuing trend that started last season.
We really needed to Pledger to step up and hit a shot late in the game today, and it never happened.
It would certainly be preferable if OU played poorly in both halves, had players calling the shots and generally had no focus or direction like it was under Capel. I vote we go back. Instead of briingin in Hornbeak, Hield, Cousins and Woodard, we can recruit Harrison Barnes and end up with Ray Willis.
A 10 or 12 point lead is only big if you get down to 2 or 3 minutes to go. It can be cut to 6 or 3 in not time at all.
I agree with this but it does disturb me that OU lost to ISU, Texas and OSU. However, I think fans need to look at the positives. Prior to Kruger coming the guys just didn't know how to compete against good teams much less win. Now they win more than they lose and compete in almost every single game with the exceptions being Gonzaga and at ISU.
I think in a year or two our guards will know how to win these games and will win these games.
I agree. It's a hard lesson to learn, unfortunately but it's a good lesson for the young guys to learn.
Instead....he airballed another good look.
gosh dang senior
Why is it a good lesson to learn when we had a chance at a 9 seed or higher?
If you expect players who haven't been out of high school a full year to play like veterans, you will be disappointed more often than not.
We're going to the dance, boys, no matter what some are saying. Maybe a couple of weeks from now we'll all be singing CLK's praises.
