Coach, is OU in on Dylan Warlick?
Curious about a kid I never heard of, I did a search online and watched several highlight videos. Dang! That kid is good now! He’s going to be a stud in the next year or two if he continues to improve.
I assume our coaches know about him. If not, they’d better get off of their duff and make the trip to Edmond!
My daughter plays for her 8th grade school team and played against Parker F's sister team (Bixby) a couple of times this season. I saw Parker's parents at each game and his dad was wearing Nebraska stuff for the first game, then a Creighton pullover for the most recent game.
I know Parker has A LOT of family up in those parts, so I could def see him at Creighton an/or Nebraska. I'm still holding out for hope that he stays close to home and picks OU...but I dunno at this point.
I've seen the Union kid play recently, and I REALLY like his game!! He is every bit of 6'8-6'9" ish and has LONG arms. He's a very good passer and I think would be a GREAT fit for Porter and OU! If I had to compare him to a former OU player....maybe someone like Damon Patterson? SLim Patterson was called slim for a reason! And Trent Pierce is slim and very athletic.
Union also had this 6'10+ center who I believe is only a sophmore. He looked fairly unathletic and I wasn't expecting much from him, but he actually had decent touch around the rim! I dont think he's quite OU good, but I can see him at a ORU or TU. He just doesn't run the floor very well. He had like 8 points in the 1Q alone though that night!

Oklahoma: “I play with coach (Porter) Moser’s son on the summer circuit. We’ve been building a good relationship ever since he got there. They just showed me love. The campus is also nice and I like how they play too. They’re only like 20 minutes away.”

Cole has three more official visits in mind
Staying on the far from home theme, the No. 57 ranked prospect in the On3 Consensus has three more officials in mind.
“I would say Oklahoma, Tennessee and Xavier.”
Cole broke down the three future visits.
Tennessee: Tennessee is just a major culture. Rick Barnes has built a culture over there. That is a culture I would like to play in.
Oklahoma: The Sooners are great. They showed me that they have a family. I talk to Coach (David) Patrick and Coach (Porter) Moser a lot. It would be a great opportunity. Coach Moser tells me that I could be a very versatile player. Do a little bit of everything on the court. And be able to push forward as a player.
Xavier: Xavier is nice because it is far from home in Cincinnati. They are a really strong program too.
Bellaire will take on Shadow Creek in the 6A Region III semi-final on Friday.
