Any news on TaShawn Thomas injury?

Senior forward TaShawn Thomas tallied 8 points and 10 rebounds (one shy of season high) in 27 minutes. Thomas left the game early due to an injury (played just 12 minutes in second half).

Any news?

We need the big man on Monday night.

Thomas leaves game with eye injury: Oklahoma forward TaShawn Thomas took a shot to the eye in the second half Saturday in Fort Worth, Texas, and sat out the last seven-plus minutes of OU’s 68-56 victory at TCU.

After the game, coach Lon Kruger didn’t know anything more than that, leaving Thomas’ status for Monday’s game against Iowa State somewhat mysterious.

Thomas seemed dazed as he sat on the bench with a towel drapped around his neck. He got up for timeouts carefully, and was under the watchful eye of trainer Alex Brown.

Thomas had eight points and 10 rebounds, one shy of his season high, before departing.

Thomas and Spangler both better bring their "A" game against Niang, Hogue, and McKay tomorrow night. They said it was his eye but it looked like he hit his chin on the floor. I think he's probably OK.
