We got a glimpse of how good Baylor might be. Although we don't know how good Miami is, they were 10-0. Baylor beat them 88-81. Baylor won it by dominating the boards.

And at the free throw line. Except for that, Miami outscored BU. BU only shot 22% from behind the arc. Niya Johnson only had 4 assists.......

Individual stats are hugely impacted by the quality of the opponents. Even though we do not really know how good Miami is, they are lots better than ORU.

I noticed that Kalani Brown only played 5 minutes and scored 2 points, got 2 rebounds, had 1 TO, and picked up 2 fouls. Hmmmmm.... At that rate she would have fouled out in about 12 minutes. I think that is why many of us suggest we not expect AA performance from Freshmen. I expect she will eventually be pretty good. But it will take some experience - as it does for most.

Oregon State came back. But, Tennessee still won, 53-50. Oregon State couldn't hold serve at home.

Not sure what to make of the Kalani Brown situation... From everything I've seen Beatrice Mompremier is the better player right now. It looks like Mompremier will start as long at the Prince is out, but she could start the remainder of the season with Davis doing okay at the 3... It seems like it's being set up for Cox to come in and start from day one next year, it wouldn't shock me if Kim told Cox she had a good chance to start even with 2 other high school All Americans already on the team... Unless Kim is going to try and play them all at the same time , some combination of Cox on the perimeter on offense , while Mompremier guards the opposing teams Small Forward, Brown could be a bench player for 4 years... I can't see the Brown family being okay with that.
