As much as we complained about attendance earlier this season, I have to give it up to our fans. We currently average the 5th highest attendance in conference. Only KU, KSU, ISU, and Texas average more.

Despite not having much press in the polls or nationally, OU fans have come around and done a solid job supporting this team.

Even 5th paid, would probably still put us 5th in the conference. The only team I can see that has huge inflated numbers to their benefit is Texas. As every game there looks just a step above Tech as their season has continued.

How many games do you think we've really had 9800 people in the seats? I've seen quite a few games this year where it was rather tomb like.

Texas had no one at the OU game. The upper level of the stadium was empty. I bet there were not 200 people in it. The bottom level was reasonably full at about 1/2 to 2/3rds full. It was the smallest crowd I have seen at a UT game. I think I have only gone to conference games.
