For the record, OU won, 64-61. The Sooners prevailed even though they had fewer field goals than the Cowboys, were outrebounded 35-26, had 14 turnovers and shot 41.9 percent from the field.

Here's how bad the ball in Oklahoma has become: After yesterday's game, embattled OU coach Jeff Capel noted that the Bedlam victory allowed the Sooners to finish with one more Big 12 win than a year ago.

The situation is pretty bleak when you claim it an achievement after improving from 4-12 to 5-11. Capel didn't mention that OU also has one fewer overall victory than a year ago. But, hey, why quibble over the difference of going 13-18 or 13-17?

Actually, it was a fun afternoon. Me and my wife really enjoyed the game and it's always nice to beat your rivals, and particularly Napolean.

Actually, it was a fun afternoon. Me and my wife really enjoyed the game and it's always nice to beat your rivals, and particularly Napolean.

No doubt!!! My daughter and I had an awesome afternoon, capped off with one of OUr walks around campus..... I don't care what the record is, the team chemistry is, I always have fun watching OU beat os-who in ANYTHING.
