I'm surprised. Watching this game, it appears we don't have even one player who could even make the Baylor squad.

This really surprises me.

I do agree that they are playing at the top of their game and we are not playing nearly as well as we can. But could that be because we lack the talent to compete?

It is clear that past KK we have major weakness in the post.

When a team is this bad it IS the coaches fault. You are making 1 million per year you should Never get used this way

I will say our teams are not tough enough. Players get subbed in and out of the lineup for scoring points- That works until you off. Emphasis could be more on Toughness and Defense.

Nina Davis is 5" 11"....wow, listening to the game, I thought she must be taller because we cannot defend her. Watched her last year and remembered she was really good, but forgot she was not that tall.

Baylor did not like not being one of the top 4 seeds, and we are proving we did not deserve to be in the top 20.

We are right around the bottom of the top 20. We are just young, and do Not Yet have tough leaders on the court. We win play better in second half. We will learn from this, and be better able to play through a tough start without tensing up.

KK is not doing that well either. The freshmen posts aren't bad but when you come into a game like this and the starters are playing so poorly, it probably affects your game.

Agree their talent is a class above ours.

Well, we played no defense. If you let them have open shots, they might hit some of them. They are not a great shooting team, but they look like it tonight. We look like we have nobody who has ever seen a shot. Of our starters, Peyton is the only one that has played well. Pathetic defense.

We really let them get into our heads. This is the biggest lead that Baylor has had in any Big Twelve game this year. That says it all.

If you let a team get on a roll and do nothing to stop it, you are going to lose. We had some opportunities to end their runs, and we missed free throws, or took really stupid shots.

They need to get their heads in the game and show that they belong. This looked like last year's team. If I see one more missed layup....

But beyond that Norm, we are not defending anything.

Part of it is they are hitting at a way higher percentage than they have averaged on the year.

Kind of reminds me of S Carolina against UConn.

Don't jump on the Bandwagon too quick. Baylor is not this good. A young team overwhelmed by emotions and expectations. We might even get blown out by 30 here, were not this bad. And they aren't this good.

I wish we weren't that good ourselves.

True. MAYBE if we were shooting lights out and playing our best game possible, we could beat them even if we did not defend the paint. But that type game is not going to happen often. Nina Davis is going to HAPPEN often.

I think you meant "you're surprised"?

Yes I am. I knew it would be a tall task to beat them on their court, but many on the board have schooled us that all those tough road games during pre-conference would harden us for these kinds of games.

I wasn't so sure - but admit I hoped they were right.

Gabbi has hit two back to back threes. That is a positive.
