Best dunker in OU basketball history?

In no particular order:

- Calvin Pierce
- Skeeter Henry
- Mike Bell (master of the power flush)
- Wayman Tisdale
- Taj Grey
- Al Beal (master of the alley-oop; one of which almost included a rail-thin Aggie center with it in '77).
- Harvey Grant (see below)

- Stacey King
- Daryan Selvy
- Jason Detrick.

Corey Brewer was pretty good for being 6-3 or whatever he was.

D Selvy- if for nothing but the dunk to end the Big 12 ch game
Jackie Jones
Sean Clark
helicopter Bell
Taj Gray
Wayman
Calvin Pierce
Al Beal- his power was rememberable even though I was just 10 yr old
Anjelo Hamilton- still remember the 360
Taylor Griffin- dude would take off from anywhere

Besides Blake's magic, maybe the greatest dunk I witnessed at the LNC, was T Everett throwing it off the glass at an angle then out of nowhere Taj rises up on the break between two guys to throw it down. Can't remember opponent, maybe Mizzou, but sure remember dunk

Calvin Pierce was the first player I saw that jammed an offensive rebound when starting about midway through the lane flying toward the basket.

I will always remember that, he was strong man with plenty of ups.

Jackie Jones could soar, both Taylor and Blake had hops as well. Calvin Pierce had some thunder dunks ala Blake.

Nick- you might be right. I just remember sitting at a rather uneventful game and then going nuts when Taj threw it down. I have mentioned that dunk to friends and nobody remembers. Only other time I can recall anything like that was Blake's dunk in KC last year vs Michigan

My favorite Blake dunk was one of his dunks against OSU. You can pick any of them.

I like the one where he took it coast-to-coast and rose up over Eat-a-ton. It was so unexpected, it made me jump out of my chair.

Or the one where the lane opened up and everyone just ran away from him. He completely owned OSU.

Jason Detrick. Had my favorite OU dunk of all time at the LNC. It was Jordanesque.

Andre Wiley. Put on a show in warmups for the Final Four in 88. Had the opposing fans giving standing O's. Some of the best I have ever seen.

haha! This is my fav. He was motioning to his players to pull out of the lane, but the OSU boys complied....so he took it to the hole.

That was a-w-e-s-o-m-e!

I think one OSU player thought about getting in the way then decided he didn't want to be posterized.

That would be Anthony Brown. It was a classic moment to say the least!

If we cannot count any of Blake's dunks... the one that still sticks most in my mind, mind you this guy does not dunk a lot...Willie Warren at Iowa State....That was a pure in your face...
