OSU in a tough game with Corpus Christi.. They won by 10.

Iowa State beat Drake by 48 points, and they continue to look much better than predicted. Scott Christopherson was 11-11 from the field with 29 points, and Melvin Ejim/Diante Garrett had 14 each. They are 3-0.

Pokes win by 10, one point I saw the difference was only 4 with about 4 minutes left.

Pokes are going to have a tough time scoring this year. No perimeter game and very little in the way of a offense.

Penn had the only two 3s of the night. Moses got a bunch of garbage points. They're going to have to grow up fast before the conference season starts.

Both teams are rebuilding this yr...that said OSU will prob be a little better.
However, I like what I see so far w/ our team and playing together.

I watched Darrell Williams miss about 10 layups, literally. He kept getting the rebound and throwing it off the backboard, lol.

That was ridiculous. Guy hit is first two shots, didn't hit another the whole game. He's a rebounding fool though.

OU could really use a big-time rebounder. Right now, they just don't have one.

I think the Pokes have plenty of scoring potential but they just have to get their mix right. Too many guys keep deferring to the other instead of creating an opportunity for themselves. Moses would have had 20 in the 1st half if he played like he did in the 2nd half. Penn looks as if he may be a break out player this year, he was a scorer in high school and Ford asked him to guard & distribute last year prior to his injury. Williams does need to learn to finish or draw a foul, he could have had 25 tonight if he could have converted underneath.

There were a few times I thought OSU's big guys were playing volleyball insteed of Bball. It would be miss, rebound D. Williams, follow shot miss, rebound M. Moses, follow shot miss, rebound D. Williams.

It was pretty nasty to watch.
