Blake Griffin's combine measurements...

Anybody else surprised that Hansbrough was only 1/4" shorter than Blake?

Definitely thought Blake was a good 1 and a 1/2 inches taller at least. Did notice that apparently Blake's shoes are somehow a half inch taller than Hansbrough's? And how Hansbrough's wingspan is slightly better is a mystery to me as well - a quarter inch is splitting hairs, I know, but still thought Blake would win out on that one... certainly didn't help "psycho t" here:

I'm sorry, that never gets old. Stupidity at perfection... It's rare to witness, people. We've all been blessed. :)

If Blake Griffin can hit his jumper at a good rate he will be impossible to guard in the league. He will be deadly on the pick and roll, pick and pop, face up in the mid range, and deep in the post.

Since we are talking about athleticism, David Godbold broke the rim today on an alley oop from yours truly. I was happy to contribute.

With a jumpshot out to 17-20 feet, Blake could end up in the Hall.

He measured at 6'8.5 w/o shoes, 6'10 in shoes. Had a 6'11.25 wingspan and 8'9 standing reach.

Looks like he measured out really well in height but not in reach. They made an interesting comment that reach may be the reason that he isn't quite the shot blocker that most think he should be.

Well, it's clear that he's overrated. The Clippers should take Thabeet instead. Come on, Mr. Sterling, you know you want the big man from UCONN!
