Bryce Thompson timeline?

I know Wiggins was tall but he is/was essentially more of a guard right?

Was 6'8" now listed at 6'7' with new NBA rules.

Plays on the perimeter, more like a Jimmy Butler, Tatum or Gordon. But, he is listed as a Forward, SF, with the TWolves.

The point of lack of guards in the NBA from KU is still the same.

Every player you named there has been a disappointment outside of Embiid and maybe Gooden

Well, Marcus Morris has had. A pretty good career, but he’s not close to a star.

Yeah and everyone said Markieff would be better, just goes to show skill is trumping raw athleticism in the NBA today.

I prefer the 3 or 4 star for 4 or 5 years than the 5 star for 1 year.

I prefer a talented and deep veteran team and adding a 5 star to put us over the top while we win a national title.

It’s never happened, but a guy can dream

well ... I dont want it to appear that I wouldnt welcome a kid like that. I certainly would. But I'd take Hollis Price's contribution to this program over that of Trae's.

I'd take 1 year of Trae over 4 years of Rashard Odomes, Christian James, and Muni.

On the court - 100% agree, but Trae's value to the program goes well beyond what he did on the court.

His, likely, financial contributions aside, the publicity and track record of showing kids you can be a one-and-done kid at OU are hard to quantify. I often equate on the court success with overall program success, but there is more too it than what happens on the court.

Having Blake (2 years) and Trae in the league is big for OU - just look at the practice facility as an example.
