Bubble Watch catch all ..

I think wake and Xavier don't get in.

No way of knowing till we see what other bubble teams do. Only thing we know for sure is they left the door open for other teams to jump them, but whether that happens remains to be seen.

Highly unlikely. They are the 7 seed and there are three very good teams in that league.

Exactly why I said could and not will. They are the type of team that could get hot and steal a bid. Watching Virginia now, ACC sux. Cavs in trouble too

I still can’t believe we lost to butler and Utah state. 2 horrible losses.

We saw on a number of occasions the difference between winning and losing this season and many times it's razor thin.

We really just needed 1 or the other. Butler definitely was more disappointing since it was at home. They did beat a decent Xavier team today.

the Athletic has 18 teams left for 9 spots (this does not account for bid thieves ie one bid leagues having a champ possible lose or a team out winning a big conf tournament)

ESPN has 16 teams for 7 spots ..

todays update

Looking at this again makes me wonder why so many projections have had Wake solidly in. Look how few games they have played against Q1&2 opponents, and their SOS is garbage. Would also be nice if North Texas loses early in their tournament.

WVU and KSU are now 76 and 77 net (just outside of Q1)

they both have a good shot to move up .. WVU even with a loss to KU

and KSU if teams above them lose ..

Some important NET games to get back a Quad 1 win or two.

#79 Virginia vs #32 North Carolina. UNC -4.
#75 Fresno St vs #29 San Diego St. SDSU -5
#74 Colorado vs #72 Oregon. Oregon -1
#71 Vanderbilt vs #27 Alabama. Bama -5.5

Obviously, a lot of other games and results that could change things. A lot of fluidity.

Good post. Thanks

With the results yesterday, I am even more convinced now that all we need to do is beat Baylor. If we do, we for sure should vault above both Wake and Xavier among others. I put our odds to make tourney around 90-95% if we beat Baylor and then lose in next round. I also think our odds to make it are 5% or less if we lose tonight. Tonight is essentially an NCAA Tournament game for us.

Dang. That hurts. Our Q1 record was already bad, so this hurts. I don’t see much chance of KSU moving up because the teams ahead of them play good enough opponents that they likely won’t drop much even with a loss.

great post ..

Hopefully Michigan keeps putting it to Indiana and knocks them out of bubble talk.

71 Vandy plays bama today hope they get smoked
72 Oregon plays CU today hope they win big or get smoked
73 Towson no more games
74 colorado plays oregon today hope they win big or get smoked
75 Fresno St plays Sand Diego St today hope the get smoked
76 WVU hope they win or keep it close vs KU
77 KSU season over
78 Rutgers play tomorrow hope they get smoked
79 Virginia plays UNC hope they get smoked

if 2 of the top 5 happen KSU and WVU could both get back in the top 75
