Only made 2 of them. Out of 17 shots he took 11 threes. Why does Kruger keep allowing him to do this? He will never play in the NBA if he doesn't develop a better penetration game. And it will bite us in the butt this season if he doesn't stop shooting so many.

I don't know what the answer is, but his penetration game isn't good right now because he turns it over every other time he drives to the basket. Maybe a mid-range game or floater is something that he could use as a third option.

He drove early and didn't get a couple fouls. That got in his head.

The shots he did make were timely - that is the key.

A bad day and he still scores double figures and we win by 19 on the road. I'll take that.

Buddy will be back.

Yes, he's fine.

great sign that we can win games going away with Buddy shooting/playing poorly - bodes really well for us down the line.

It's not how many 3's he shoots or how many he makes. It's all about if they were good shots. If he shoots 11 good shots and only makes 2 of them I will take that from him each game.

I thought it was true that a good shooter has to shoot his way out of a slump. He'll come out of it.

More concerning to me is his form on these threes. He has never been the most on-balance shooters, but this year he seems to really be all over the place. Sometimes it's back, sometimes to the side. I'm sure the staff is all over this, just something I have noticed (doubt I'm the only one).

Shooting better than last year: Isaiah Cousins; Ryan Spangler
Shooting worse than last year: Buddy Hield; Jordan Woodard; Frank Booker

The season is young.

Both Buddy and Jordan seem really off balance with their shots. I know this will improve. Jordan has beeN downright awful from the field. I thought he broke the slump against Mizz but didn't shoot well at all v TU.

Contrast them with Cousins, who shoots with lots of confidence and the stats show the result. He could use a little more arc on the ball, but who am I to correct him.

SoonerTraveler, way to bring the stats. Love it.
