Buddy Makes Wooden Top 20

Odd to see three Big XII players considering the Big XII doesn't have the talent according to a few of our posters.

Well, at least one poster insists that oswho has two "great" players, so there's obviously some disagreement in this area on the board.

That eye-roll does nothing to change the fact that those unnamed posters have no more ability to judge talent/ability than the rest of us fans.

Says the fake OU fan that has been virtually absent during the couple of weeks when things are going well but has plenty of time to post negative stuff.

Back to this fan-measuring contest are we? "I am a better fan than you", etc.

Who determines who is a fan and who isnt? Isn't that for me to decide?

My comments are only directed at you. You are virtually always negative. If you think that is what being a fan or life is all about, I actually feel sorry for you.

Just ignore him Denver. His act has been tired for going on 4 years. Fortunately he only posts in short "bursts" now.

I think OSU has four really good college players. Ford, Hickey, Nash and Cobbins are all nice college players.

Buddy should have no problem making the next cut (10?). He is a much better player than Niang, and many others on the list.

Where? I think he has a lower chance of starting than Forte or Hickey.

They'd find a spot for him. Nash is the second leading scorer in the conference (17.1) and is a 6'7" versatile/athletic swing forward that creates a lot of mismatches. If you don't think a player like that would start on this OU team, your glasses are an extra shade of crimson.

As I see it, it would force OU to either (1) go smaller with Nash at the 4 (similar to Cam last season) or (2) Nash at the 3 and either Woodard or Cousins coming off the bench. Again, it's not necessarily who Nash would start "over" but rather how his presence would change the makeup of the team.

What is interesting to me is Nash has arguably better stats than Niang. More ppg, slightly more rebounds, more blocks. Niang has him beat in assists though. Team success is considered too, so I'm sure that is partly where the Niang nod comes from. I'm not arguing Nash is better though, just to be clear.

I think they're nice players, too, but I don't think any of the four are great.

I don't know that I agree. I don't think I sit Thomas or Spangler for Nash. I know I don't sit Hield. Nash is not near the rebounder that Thomas and Spangler are. He also is not as efficient as Spangler or Thomas. He does average a few more points but it is 16.4 not 17.1 and he is the third leading scorer. If he can't defend the post as well, I guaranty I don't sit Spangler or Thomas for him.

Nash is also susceptible to having his head gotten into.
