Maine grad transfer Aaron Calixte (16.9 ppg) told ESPN he has cut his list to Oklahoma, Grand Canyon, DePaul, Florida State and Missouri. Will visit Grand Canyon this weekend and Oklahoma next weekend.

Hard to imagine us losing him to Grand Canyon. That place is a big hole right now.

Dan Majerle is the head coach at Grand Canyon. They are a for profit university spending big to try to build a basketball program.

If I had been living in Maine for the past few years, Florida would be looking very appealing. Of course, he is likely guaranteed to start at OU given that there isn't a single point guard on roster.

You don't grad transfer for the weather. This is a job audition for a professional career. You go where you are going to fit in best and get a chance to showcase your abilities.

Ok well then go to the team that has zero competition at your position. OU might be one of the few teams in the country in that position.

the Dude definitely likes his "tanning" weather...

Haven't seen any of these guys, but from their on line info, I would like to see us pick up Martin, Bandoo and a point, either Calizte or Reynolds. We need a point, and a 2, that can play point in a pinch, and all 3 shoot about 40% from the 3.

Also, Martin and Bandoo would have 2 years left, which is what Shepard and McGusty had and either point would have one year, which is what we need with Harmon coming in the next year.

so, tan majerle? that dude could fill up the grand canyon as much as sweats coaching during a game.

but we need some calixte, if not for his name alone. hope we can reel him in.

Go out and tweet him... ‪@A_Calixte23 ‬
Please don't tweet at recruits. Besides being a little creepy, it's technically an NCAA violation for a fan to contact a player who hasn't signed a letter of intent. (Source)

Meh the ncaa can't do anything about it

Hitting someone up on twitter is in the grey. Creepy is a little harsh. You see it a lot and it is highly effective for football(semi encouraged by Bob Stoops at one point), so I will continue. If you all are passionate fans then get out and do the same. It helps...
