Call your shot: OU vs NDSU score prediction

All the stars would have to align or overtime for you guys to get anywhere near 80 points. Not trying to take a cheap shot its just that ndsu will not get anyway from their halfcourt.

73-67 NDSU for the win

I would say that the stars would have to align for you to hold us under 70... I know it has already been stated, but you guys had a hard time keeping your less than equal competition (compared to us) under 70... What makes you think all the sudden your defense will keep a considerably more athletic and talented team under 70? Listen, I'm not saying you guys can't win, but we are not Denver to whom we have been compared to on your teams board... We're not even I the same stratosphere as Denver.

Are you sure they weren't referring to the Nuggets?

OU 77
NDSU 67

Clark goes for 22. Hield for 18. Woodard 9 assists. Spangler 15 boards - 6 offensive.

It will be interesting to see who wins the battle of tempos. They will walk the ball up the court and be patient in their offense, so that will keep the score down. It has nothing to do with defense or what we've averaged in other games. That's why I previously picked OU at 67-62.

I do wonder if OU might do some full-court pressing to make them work a little bit and take them out of their comfort zone. We need to do something to exploit our quickness advantage. Of course the Sooners will push the ball on offense because we are more effective in a transition game than running a half-court offense.

I think we'll use the press off and on, as well as a 1-3-1 zone to use our length/athleticism to speed them up and get them out of their comfort zone.

I do think a press will be effective against them.

OU - 73
NDSU -62

No more excuses. JC is gone. Losing to mighty NDSU is not an option at 2+ mill a year.

congrats on the win.

But you were not right. You said it would take a miracle for us to score 80. I said we just needed to play good. We didn't play good.
