Nice to see a PG step up a little bit. Newell was brutal in the 1st half. Blair played very well in the 2nd half and was a big reason Pledger and Cade got their open looks.

Newell may be the better defender, but obviously I'll take 7 assists and no TO's from our PG any day.

I said he should be the pg after the first game and was lambasted.

His D is soft, but the alternative is not much better with much worse pg skills.

Yes, terrific game for Carl, but both will continue to play a lot. Whoever is playing better for that particular game will log the majority of the minutes. I just don't see that changing throughout the course of the season.

Really the only option we have, just see who is hot for the night...can throw Pledger in there as well. Actually UT does the same thing with their backcourt, they start the same guys most nights and then just see who is on their game after making some subs.
