This is why guys don't come on here and "eat crow." People can't let go. ABD comes on here praising Cade and Blair and people throw it back in his face. Why would ABD change his posting style, if people rip on him either way.

I almost passed out when he went to the line with like 11 mins to go in the first half and he already had 7 pts, 6 asts, and 5 rebs. In the moment I hadn't realized that he had damn near every assist in the first 8 or 9 minutes. I also wouldn't have dreamed he had grabbed 5 boards. Great Game Carl!!

I guess that I worded it wrong. My whole intent was to get Soonerman to ENJOY tonight. He has been defending pretty hard lately. I know that he just got tired. I wasn't really pointing out ABD when I said naysayers....
Anyway, good night to be a SOONER after a tough season....
ldwt356:I'll put it this way, I'm a guy who thinks Capel should get one more year and was told from a reliable source prior to the first tip off of this season that he would get one more year. Accordingly, I'll be a little disappointed if he get's canned. THAT SAID, no OU fan should be happy with the state of the program right now and I have no issue with anyone ripping it, so long as it is fair. This post was an EXTREMELY fair post. In fact I was surprised from the source.
Point is, I guess, is that I can 100% see why people want Capel gone and have questions about some of our players, the proof is in the pudding, but to rip a guy that has held OU to a 30 year standard when he compliments the effort of an OU athlete goes beyond being a "sunshine pumper" (which I probably am) and into a vendetta. My ONLY beef with abd and some of his posts is that he appears to hold Capel more responsible than his peers as to how "good" their teams are (see CU, ISU, TT, BU and oSu). But 100% agree, guy compliments a player and gets ripped.
