There was a group of posters who essentially forced him out... he got tired of their act and he bolted on his own. Grace followed for awhile, and he doesnt post nearly as often as he once did. In fact, grace can usually be found on the NBA board.

Yes let's all express our sympathy for the Kansas fan that got "forced out" from an OU basketball board. Good lord some of you act like this should be Big12Hoops.com. We need a little more attitude and school pride around here sometimes. Stop trying to be Mr. Nice Board all the time.

Listen I know that you want this to be the place to come to have in depth discussions about the Iowa State bench and Texas Tech's guard depth, but some of us actually live and breathe Oklahoma athletics and are going to act as such. Sorry to disappoint you.
I personally didn't see anyone try to "force out" Cheno or any other fan from any other school. In fact people on this board and the admin bend over backwards to welcome everyone, too much so for my liking at times. When Cheno came over and started in with his "Sherron Collins has the heart of a lion" crap, what did you want people to do? Let's have an 8 page thread on the OU board about how great of a competitor that Sherron Collins is. Sounds awesome. Go try that on any other non-KU board and see how far you get. If somebody tried that on a Poke board it would be locked and they would be banned in about 30 seconds.
I'm not saying we shouldn't have discussions about other schools/teams on this board, but when rivals come over to a website named OUHoops.com they shouldn't act like they're shocked and appalled when they get a little ribbing from the other posters. As I've said the atmosphere here is MUCH tamer and MUCH more welcoming than pretty much any other fan site I can think of.

Very well said. I have never seen any other schools' boards allow opponents fans to have the freedom that other schools fans have here. Most are pretty respectful and just enjoy good hoops talk. Others are flat out rude/disrespectful, and they come here to stir up trouble. OU fans purposely joined a SOONER board looking to discuss Sooner hoops. There are plenty of all sports/all teams boards around. This is OU Hoops, plain and simple.:OUbball-logo:
