It may have been a "splash" for the people that post on this message board, but it's not like people in Texas would have been saying "Wow! OU hired Terry Evans as an assistant coach!!!"

I'm not against the hire first of all. Secondly, what I meant by "splash" was someone from a major program who has recruited and signed some high major players.

I'm not sure. I just would have been excited to get Terry on staff again. Hopefully CC will be really good.
