If he graduates and doesn't turn pro(very doubtful) could he transfer out of conference to get his 4th season.

Your comment is a little vague, but I don't think it works how you are suggesting.

Graduating and transferring doesn't give a player an extra year of eligibility. It simply allows them to transfer with no impunity. Baker's year is gone, at this point. That transfer rules cannot bring it back.

actually walkons usually don't lose a year transferring ...

and there is currently an appeal to get the year back (which lots think is very possible )

which will make him a jr next year if he wins ..

That isn't what Darwin was saying, I don't believe.

It appears he was saying Mayfield could use the graduate transfer rule to get that year back. That is not correct, I don't believe.
