Yep; it was ridiculous. I have never seen a ref blow the whistle that quickly for an injury and not actually call the foul. He blew it dead as fast as he would have if he was calling the foul.

Actually, that play should have been reviewed for a flagrant foul because it looked like the Tech player just punched him.

This non call pissed me off so much. If I was Lon I would have asked (I'm sure he did) why he didn't get a call. Then after the ref's explanation I would have said Ok, Tech's face is fair game for us too.
