Guys I have been watching a lot of round ball and Saturday nights game with Oswho got me to thinking. While I can't stand Oswho I admire their fans for turning out. They had a great crowd and they stayed the whole game. Then I watch Iowa State, Kansas, Virginia and Duke and they all have great crowds. Now I know that they are round ball schools but wouldn't be great to have our students turn out in force to support both the men and women.

I noticed that a lot of the old timers at these games sit with the hands crossed and they don't seem to participate much but the younger fans are going nuts, why can't we as OU supporters do the same for our teams?

Most of their games have somewhat weak attendance. Their crowd stayed the whole game because it was a tight game til the end. When they played at Lloyd Noble the game was a blowout.

Part of the problem at LNC is camera placement. The east side lower seats are donor seats. They are the least animated fans in the entire arena. The camera is on the west side and the donors are who you see on TV.

Did you attend the Bedlam game in Norman? Because we mostly packed the house, too. There were reportedly some empty seats in the donor area, but there were definitely empty seats in Stillwater on Saturday, too; one could easily spot them on TV. And has been stated above, if you tune into any oswho game in which we are not the opponent, there are scads of empty seats in GIA. You may have been watching a lot of roundball, but i seems you haven't tuned into many oswho games.

I hope to live to see the day (but I'm starting to doubt that I will) when all of our fans have a clear sense of where our program stands in relation to oswho's. The build-up the aggies receive from some of our own fans is baffling.
