Dancing or not dancing: Call your shot

Will the Sooners hear their name called on selection Sunday?

I am the only one who actually pulled the trigger. Yes! But I am not sure they deserve it anymore.

I voted yes, my head tells me no, but my heart still says yes! This team has worked so hard this season, and it would truly be a shame if it slips away due to the last week and a half of the season. We all know this team is good enough, that if they draw a favorable seed they can do some serious damage in the dance. Its going to be a long next few days waiting on the selection show to get here.

In for sure.

Too strong of a profile to not get the nod.

Seed might be problematic, though.

I still think that we are in. The Kruger going to the NCAA tourny with 5 teams story already has legs.

Even the Aggie says we are in. That tells me wee will sneak in and might have a play-in game. But still counts

Yes. We'll be in. We'll be sweating it, though. People in KC thought I was crazy for being worried.

Just got a break as UCLA came back and beat Arizona St.. Arizona St is a bubble team that if they would have won a couple of games could have hurt us.

If the committee is only looking at final scores, we should be fine. If they look at how we collapsed (UT, ISU) and how far we were behind to horrid TCU, we might be in trouble.

I don't pretend to know.
All I know is - today's loss is only a bad loss if you figure in the collapse.
Otherwise we narrowly lost a neutral court game to a Big Dance-caliber team.
And the UT loss was our main rival and it was in OT.
So if they start to dig into it, we may be fine regardless.

Just pull for favorites to win their conference tournaments and for bubble teams like Ole Miss to crap out early.

It would be great for the SEC teams to knock each other out. Man.....Sunday is going to be nerve racking

I voted YES, but if we don't make it, I'll be the last person to complain. If that was the case, the TCU loss will haunt the seniors who never got to experience the Big Dance. If we do, make it, we'll probably be an 11 seed, which is a great seed because the #6 is not THAT much better, and a #3 (especially THIS YEAR) is hardly an intimidating matchup.

The committee does not look at the progression of the game.

Wow. Matched up with VCU? I think that would be an extremely difficult matchup. Maybe we can be an 11 and get a different 6.
