Will the Sooners hear their name called on selection Sunday?

Yes, there just isn't enough teams that have done better to fill up the brackets.

If we're in, it will be by the smallest margin. A win at TCU or today would have erased any doubt. Now we have to sweat a little on Sunday.

I voted, yes, by the way.

Is the OU-VCU projection in Dayton the play-in game?

Actually having to read this conversation makes me ill. There should have been NO WAY we shouldn't have been a guaranted lock to get in with our schedule the last 5 games. I think we get in but by default so to speak. Pretty disappointed in the way these guys finished.

Does Tuesday night in Dayton count as in? That's where we'll be as a 12 seed. What a pathetic end to this season.

Yes, that's the first round and where all the 'Last four in" teams will play. I haven't seen OU on any of those lists. They've been solidly in for weeks, though it wouldn't surprise me to see a game in Dayton.

No doubt OU will be in. So will Iowa State. Baylor helped us out again last night. Baylor, Texas and West Virginia all helped us out this year by having incredibly disappointing seasons.

Based on what I see in conference tourneys so far I also voted yes; but waited for last nights games. However, you never know because no matter what they use for guidance it's a world of opinions.

At this point I am not overly concerned either way. The NCAA will be better for rebuilding the program but we need to show up. My goal was NIT before the season so that will be OK although I won't like how we eventually got there.
