Fantastic news! It would have been a shame if Dante had to spend his entire redshirt season watching from the bleachers. This will give him a nice start toward making his presence known next year.

Congrats on reaching your goal of a 2.5 GPA or better, Dante!!!

Glad he got his grades sorted out. Having the semester to adjust to a college work schedule might be good for Dante.

I chuckled.

Why? Laughing at me, or the fact that Dante made his grades? I have no idea if his GPA was 2.5 or 4.0. The important thing is that he met the minimum requirements to be able to practice with the team. I felt that a congrats was in order. Sorry you don't share those feelings.

This is great for him and will help the team as a whole this season and next. I really believe he starts next season if Hield leaves early.

As of now, Buddy would not make an NBA roster IMO.

You know, here is what's so irritating about Buford. As a follower of college football and basketball, I have seen NUMEROUS times where a recruit will have his test score and core GPA, etc, and the NCAA Clearinghouse will drag their feet, inexplicably in most cases, poring over the kid's classes, his high school, what counts for his core, what doesn't. These are kids who for the most part end up being legitimately qualified. So knowing that, and the fact that the NCAA Clearinghouse had obviously gone through their steps and cleared him earlier.... How could this have happened? Do the people at the NCAA constantly step on their cranks at the expense of the players? Unbelievable..

Now someone get in there and watch practice so you can report back to us on how he's doing! :D
