It was posted by Joe DuVall on Sooner Scoop that DSM's transfer is "all but inevitable". Joe then went on to talk about options for his scholarship. I remember someone on here talking that DSM and Kruger had an argument during practice about a month ago. DSM still has a redshirt year available so he can probably go somewhere where he won't be the 3rd string PG his senior year.

If true, I don't know if DSM was pushed, or just saw that he was sinking lower on the depth chart. Either way I don't blame him if he wants playing time.

If you aren't a member of a "pay" football board, Joe does a great job covering Sooner basketball...... in addition to their football coverage.

Props to vbdad! This confirms what he told me last Friday. Nothng is certain until there is an official announcement, of course. But it's good to know that insider information is alive and well on OUHoops.

I also heard earlier today one more may be leaving soon.

BTW, I subscribe the "pay" football board, but always come here first for basketball info. That board does basketball no favors.

Thanks for DSM info, I will check out DuVall.

Duvall is big time when it comes to OU basketball. He was dead on with the Trae Young stuff.

He's great for those of us that don't have great inside sources like a lot of you do. If you don't have personal sources, Joe makes a SoonerScoop subscription worth it IMO.

Yes! Outstanding news! Throw in Freeman or Buford and get a grad transfer and MPjr :)

Some of you are pathetic HOPING that we have more players transfer. Freeman was a freshman for crying out loud!! Do you think he has already reached his potential???? Buford has skill and is well respected in the locker room. We're NOT getting MP Jr. He will end up wherever his daddy is promised a job....that's blatantly obvious!

Hoping players leave the program is an extremely warped way to look at things...and can be harmful to a program if you're not careful. Have some you forgotten how bad of an issue it was when KS was here?? We lost tons of players to transferring.....good players too. I don't like it, unless it's a mutual decision. I certainly don't like the mentality of just running off players every year for the chance of maybe...just maybe being able to add someone who might be better.

Duvall definitely does a nice job over there. A major upgrade to those who have covered basketball over there before.

I agree about not wanting anyone else to leave unless it means we are getting the porter bros. Freeman will be a really good player by the time he graduates.

seems rather silly to xfer now ... after the top of the hill.

I don't want those guys to transfer. Unless they have an attitude issue and are hurting team morale/argue with coaches and a new team would be a better fit.

I'm sure some of these posters wanted Cousins gone after his 1st year. These guys deserve our respect even if they are down the bench.

#81 sucked. He and my son were teammates. He was a waste of space on the bus rides. I wouldn't let him get my son a cup of Gatorade.

I wish the coach would've kicked him off the team so someone could've transferred in and contributed.

Good rant. Agree on the transfers.

However the latest Porter news is dad is delaying his acceptance of a job so he does not influence his sons' decisions. No idea if that is lip service or actual fact, but it has been reported and dad has not taken a job yet.

Poor snowflake. Hope your feelings are ok

Oh, brother.

Yeah, showing a modicum of respect and gratitude to the young men (and women) who represent our university and bust their butts to contribute on the court or field of play is the stuff of sissies and weaklings.

At times like this, I ask myself, WWTD? That's why I've written to Joe C. and asked him to renege on the financial assistance promised to any player who doesn't average a double-double. Joe should then use that money to purchase an oversized oil painting of himself to be hung in the athletic department offices and to have all the urinals at the LNC gold-plated.

Gotta love the people who have decided being a jerk is completely acceptable, and when they are called out on their douchebaggery, they respond with "snowflake." Just pathetic.

I am rather tired of the whole "snowflake" thing. Any time you or any one of your other "snowflake" ingrates wishes to compare personal experiences and tragedies overcome then you drop by my house some time - but bring some kleenex.

Your implication is that tough experience leads to greater strength down the road. But thats only true when the support system around that damage works together to grow over. That means healing and support after the damage is done.

You just wanna lash out and be destructive without any consequence. Thats what kids do. Adults pick each other up and help them move forward.

You are all about "me" instead of "we" and you wouldnt have a place on any of my teams with that attitude. And by teams I mean in sports and life. Because "me" people suck.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Agreed. The most ridiculous part of that is that those of us here who object to obnoxious statements like that one are not the ones personally offended. Why would any of us be personally offended by a poster here being a jacka$$ toward a player. It's the player and his family who might be offended, though I hope they're able to ignore jerks like that.

Person acts like a jerk to 3 players, 25% of the team.

Person is called out for being a jerk.

Person responds, not by defending his statements, but rather by attacking those who call him out for being a jerk. Priceless!

Am I personally offended because there are jerks like that in the world? Nope. I wish people didn't behave like that and am glad when they're called out, but someone else's douchebaggery doesn't damage me in the slightest. It only serves to damage the jerk. So I guess he should be thanked for pointing out what a jerk he can be.
