Prentiss Elliot feels left out.
I knew I was forgetting someone. :ez-laugh:
Prentiss Elliot feels left out.
But the only difference between suspending him now and sometime last week is the public filing of charges and arraignment. As I have argued previously, Williams definitely knew this was coming last week and almost certainly Ford knew it was coming. Once Ford knew the charges would be filed he is in the same position ethically and morally as he is today. The actual filing of the charges just prevents him from ignoring the situation any longer.
Several OSU basketball players showed up at the Payne County courthouse to support Williams. J.P. Olukemi, Keiton Page, Nick Sidorakis, Markel Brown, Matt Pilgrim, Andy Shaw and assistant coach Chris Ferguson were among the members of the program to attend the hearing.

University of Washington is dealing with this right now with one of their players...luckily for them, the athlete's name has not been released to the media.
venoy overton.
some of you have a touching faith in our legal system. and, i guess, in the veracity of women.
Darrell Williams and Matt Pilgrim love RayPenn.

hadn't heard anything in a week or so. I know they kept it under wraps for a while.
well there goes any respect i had to those guys
A guy is supposed to be treated like a leper for something he is pleading not guilty too?
Just for arguments sake, how would you feel if you went to the courthouse to support the guy and he's eventually found guilty?...

I have no clue how I'd feel.
In response to BT, I'm not upset in the slightest. I have never met Darrell Williams in my life and my only interest in him at all is that he happens to play basketball at Oklahoma State. The only reason I would actually be upset is if the victim or perpetrator was family or somebody that I knew, and thankfully in this case it was neither.
As far as being upset as a fan goes: Do you know how many times OSU fans have had the rug pulled out from underneath them? I'm only 21, and Darrell Williams getting suspended/kicked off the team for (allegedly) committing a heinous crime isn't even a blip on my 'OSU frustration' radar. I'm already numb to this stuff.
People never believe me when I tell them that I don't get mad or upset about sports, but I don't! Of course, I can't speak for any of my OSU brethren about their levels of upsetedness.

That's why he's my favorite ag. :clap ( I still haven't forgiven your Capel/Wimpy comments on the rivals natty board but I'm getting close).
Hey! The guy looks like him! But, it's 100% because of the pencil thin mustache that Capel was rocking for a while. Does he still have it?
